The primary responsibility of the ESMIA Operations Manager is to ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the program’s operational functions. He or she will manage program’s faculty, schedules and activities as well as supervise the work of on site coordinators to ensure smooth and disruption free operations of the program. Efficiency, attention to detail, flexibility, ability to multitask, smiling disposition and good judgment are critical in this role. Working with the ESMIA team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.
We are looking for dependable, hardworking, well organized and resourceful person that welcomes feedback as a means to personal and professional growth and is not a cubicle lover. He or she will feel passionate about children and social change through music, will support the ESMIA philosophy and help facilitate community and family involvement. The ESMIA Operations Manager will report to ESMIA Program Director and the Executive Director and will work closely with members of the Miami Music Project’s staff.
